The Linwood Cemetery Nature Trail is open the same hours as the cemetery. No one is allowed on the Nature Trail while the cemetery is closed.
All trail users under the age of 18, must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

General Rules
Linwood Cemetery is proud to have the opportunity to open the Linwood Cemetery Nature Trail for the Dubuque Community. In order to keep the trail open, we ask that all trail users follow the general guidelines listed below.
* All trail users must obtain a pass through the Linwood Cemetery office.
* For safety, all trail users must remain on the trail and not wander/explore the rest of the woods
* No hunting
* No alcoholic beverages
* No smoking
* No illegal drugs
* No firearms
* No unleashed pets
* No horses
* No unauthorized motorized vehicles. (Linwood Cemetery service, maintenance and security vehicles only.)
* No camping
* No fires
* No fireworks
* No littering. Waste barrels are located along the trail for debris and your doggy waste bags.
* No snowmobiles or sledding. (Snow shoeing and cross country skiing is welcomed)
Parking: We ask that all trail users, please park along Windsor Avenue as parking in the cemetery is reserved for families attending funerals or visiting loved ones grave sites.
Trail use is prohibited if the following conditions or circumstances are present:
* When trail conditions are substantially wet, walking/running on the trail should be done with discretion.
* Pets are prohibited if the pet presents a safety hazard for other trail users.
* Off trail use of wooded area is prohibited by all trail users.
* Any person found causing damage to cultural and natural features on Linwood Cemetery property may have their privileges revoked.
Linwood Cemetery personnel has the authority to request users who are not following these guidelines to desist.
These rules are subject to change at any time as the Linwood Cemetery Board of Directors and Management sees fit.

We are happy to offer a place for pet owners to walk their furry friends. We ask that pet owners follow the following guidelines, so that we can continue to be pet friendly.
* All pets must be on a leash at all times.
* Carry a bag and pick up after your pet.
* Maintain control of your pet at all times.

Trail Etiquette
When using trails, please be considerate to all trail users. Courteousness takes precedence over conversations with those you see on the trail.
